What is Comics Poetry? A comic is form of drawn or photographed media which conveys a sense of time, progression in events, whether they're in one panel, or spread throughout 4 or 5. Comics poetry is the essence of comics and poetry working together cohesively to convey a point. Though, poetry does not mean the content, or work of comics poetry is inclusive of text or is even suggestive of language being conveyed. Text can be included, and so can suggestion of words. This does not mean that something without text and suggestion of words is not comics poetry, as it does not mean that comics poetry is not comics poetry without any drawings at all. A comic can still be a comic without drawings. What, do you decide that the comic you're reading is no longer a comic when you're reading a page with black-filled panels and only text pacing itself across and down a page? Of course not. Any form of drawn or photographed media which clearly has a sense of progress in any direction or in any way, is a comic.
